2-0

Gilbey(45+), Smith(60)

HT 2-0

Terrors chalked up their first league win over the Brickies. Ironically it was the dismissal of visiting keeper Adam Molloy after half an hour that triggered a degree of resilience as until that point Terrors had controlled proceedings and looked well placed to extend the lead that Dan Summers and a Sol Pinnock Penalty had already provided.

Molley brought down Frankie Sawyer in the six yard box, giving the referee little option but dismissal (his second in two games). However the subsequent penalty was easily saved by stand in keeper Crimmin, who thereafter had a pretty easy afternoon.

Tootings approach work was at times stunning, but the finishing less so. Lewis Gonsalves slotted neatly into the back line, although he is not likely to experience many cushier afternoons in future.

HT 2-1

Tooting will travel to Erith Town following a penalties victory over the Trams. Harvey Cheadle was again the hero with two saves in the shoot out. TJ Nkoma gave Terrors the lead with a 20 yarder but an equaliser from Adam Allan took the tie to spot kicks despite a late effort by Sol Pinnock, that needed a quality save.

HT 0-1

Summers(45+), Sawyer(55), Newton(57)

Terrors sailed through a potentially tricky trip to North Kent to drop anchor on the fringe of the playoff zone.

The early loss of David Graves looked like it might prove costly as Bay created several chances, but replacement Harry Knock slotted in seamlessly beside Lewis Gonsalves, steadying the ship as the attacking storm gradually blew itself out.

Late goals have been a recent feature for Tooting and Danny Summers provided the latest instalment with a cracking 20 yard free kick that flew into the top corner of the home net during first half stoppage time.

Playing down the slope after the break the Tooting machine ran through the gears as Frankie Sawyer claimed the second with a perfect low shot on 55 minutes, this was quickly followed by one for Howard Newton, who was on hand to mop up a free kick that keeper Delo could only push into his path.

Newton then turned provider for a close Frankie Sawyer effort before departing to give us a glance at exciting prospect Saidou Kahn.

Bay pulled a neatly worked goal back in the dying seconds, but Terrors had delivered enough to send the visiting fans, many of whom looked like they had lost their way to the towns Zombie crawl, staggering home happy.

Tootings excellent league form continued with a convincing victory in the rain. David Graves knock on Saturday exacerbated the injury at Redhill, so Harry Knock continued in defence.  Sol Pinnock continues to suffer from tonsillitis.

It took around ten minutes to create panic in the Chips defence when several shins just

Managed to deflect a close range Newton effort on the goal line. Soon after it was first blood to Tooting, unfortunately it came in the form of a bang on the nose for Harry Knock.

Chipsteads first blood though was a goal via the penalty spot, decidedly against the run of play. Moments later the lead was nearly doubled when a clearly offside Chips centre forward was thwarted by Smith.

Frankie Sawyer singed the keepers hands with a 25 yard pile driver before balance was restored on the half hour when Billy Marshall fed the Beast for his first of three, looped over the keeper. Both strikers again came close, but there was to be no interval lead.

--------------------------------------

Ten minutes after the break and Marshall was again the provider for Summers with a superb though pass that enabled Dan to jig around the keeper and cooly slot his second.

Terrors now dominated proceedings and the lack of control exercised by referee Patterson encouraged the Chipstead tackling to get more and more reckless. Sawyer blasted over the bar, then danced into the box to set up a chance that Summers put just wide before yet another Sawyer foray popped the ball onto Bash Alimis head for a carbon copy of his goal against Guernsey.

A nasty tackle by Buckle on Marshall, who reacted badly, triggered a 20 man brawl earned earned both men cautions, several more Chips followed them into the book as the official attempted to regain control.

Sawyer was again denied by the keepers fingertips with a quarter of an hour remaining he was again instrumental in the build up to Summers third, who finished with a beautiful low shot that curled around the keeper from the edge of the area.
