Sad to report the death of an inspirational club captain who made nearly 300 appearances for the senior team between 1960 and 1969.
Kenny was a local boy who represented Mitcham and Surrey schools before arriving at Tooting via Elderwood Boys club.
During the war he had trials at Huddersfield and Workington before returning. Progressing through the A and reserves teams he finally broke into the first team in 1960 against Leytonstone.
He never quite made it to international level but gained representative honours with London, Surrey, Isthmian League and Cumberland Football Associations and with Southern Counties representative sides.
