The points were shared in this six goal thriller at King Georges Field. Tooting made the early running with Taurean Roberts looking particularly dangerous having a couple of early efforts. In the 12th minute the Terrors went ahead with Roberts heavily involved again when
his powerful drive was beaten out by former United keeper Danny Bracken but only
into the path of Danny Bassett who tapped in from point blank range. However a couple
of minutes later Casuals were back on level terms when a free- Back came Tooting to edge in front again when a Jordan Wilson cross shot took a deflection
and looped into the back of the net. In the 41st minute the home side were awarded
a penalty after Josh Gallagher was brought down in the box, Josh Uzun easily converting
the spot kick. Right on the stroke of half- —–––––––––––––––––—––—–––– The Terrors started the second half well and only a brilliant save by Danny Bracken from Danny Bassett stopped Tooting extending their lead five minutes after the break. Soon after former Tooting favourite Jamie Byatt made a good run down the left and his low shot was well held by Matte Pierson. After 65 minutes Matte Pierson conceded a corner and from the flag kick the ball appeared to hit a Tooting arm and the ref pointed to the spot. Up stepped Josh Uzun again to easily convert his second penalty. Sixteen minutes from time Casuals were reduced to ten men when Jordan Clarke was shown a second yellow. In the closing stages Casuals threw caution to the wind and created a couple of good chances but failed to take them and both teams had to settle for a share of the spoils. A good week for the Terrors as they went top of the league, had their best crowd of the season and celebrated former player Michail Antonio being called up for the full England squad. Horsham started the game well and Matte Pierson had to make a fine save in the third minute from Darren Boswell. Tooting hit back with a couple of efforts from Claudio Hoban who was causing problems down the right flank and Ollie Bennett had a fine shot tipped over by visitors keeper Josh Pelling. Liam McDevitt had a chance for the Hornets as he broke through the Tooting ranks but his shot lacked power. Quincy Rowe who had an outstanding game for United saw a header from a Claudio Hoban corner go just the wrong side of the post. Tooting’s pressure paid off in the 34th minute when Billy Dunn cut in from the right
and fired in an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net a real goal of the season
contender. Four minutes later it was 2- - After the break the Terrors had the chance of a third in the 67th minute when Danny Bassett made a good run and unselfishly crossed to Taurean Roberts who blasted over. Three minutes later out of the blue the spirited Horsham side pulled a goal back when the dangerous Terry Dodd fired in a low drive from 25 yards. In the 73rd minute the visitors were reduced to ten men when Matt Whitehead received a second yellow for a misplaced tackle. In the closing stages Lee Hall had an effort well saved and Mike Dixon hit the post. This was United’s third home league win on the trot against Horsham breaking the stranglehold the visitors had for many years over the Terrors. Congratulations to the team, the management not forgetting our loyal supporters for reaching the top of the league more of the same please. Tooting consolidated their position at the top of the table with a good 3- minute ex Terror Vernon Francis had a header saved by Matte Pierson and in first half stoppage time Matte made a really good stop from Karl Parker to preserve the Terrors lead going into the interval. - After the break United upped the pace and extended their lead after 50 minutes when Taurean Roberts knocked in from close range after a powerful Billy Dunn drive had come back off the woodwork. Midway through the second period Ollie Bennett made a good run and played in Taurean Roberts who fired over. Six minutes from time Jordan Wilson crossed to Matt Price who just failed to convert.
The home side were given a lifeline in the 87th minute when Roscoe D’Sane was on
hand to slide home a cross from Dylan Ramazani. However in the Terrors next attack
Matt Price sealed the points when he tapped in from close range after good work by
Taurean Roberts. In stoppage time Matte Pierson had to make a really good save to
deny Ramazani. During the first half Quincy Rowe received an accidental kick in the
face which led to him being substituted at half- another excellent display. Tooting & Mitcham Utd : Matte Pierson, Jordan Wilson, Norley Botaka, Ashley Robinson,

In a game that had everything Tooting came from behind to take the points in this seven goal thriller and get their first ever win at a very wet Whitehall Lane. The home side took the lead in the 15th minute when an unmarked James McElligott
slotted home and twelve minutes later Dan Moody made it 2- - Three minutes after the break the Terrors were back in it when a Billy Dunn shot was handled in the box and Taurean Roberts converted the penalty. In the 54th minute South Park were reduced to ten men when skipper Jerry O’Sullivan received a second yellow. On the hour Ashley Robinson was unlucky with an overhead kick which rattled the crossbar. South Park were then awarded a spot kick after Antonio Simeone was adjudged to have held an opponent but Matte Pierson made which proved to be a match winning save to keep out Joe Jacksons effort. Taurean Roberts was then a whisker away with a header and Ashley Robinson blasted over from close range. The United pressure paid off in the 81st minute when Jordan Wilson who had been pushed into midfield made a surging run and his cross was joyfully headed home by Matt Price. A minute later a powerful Taurean Roberts free- The victory keeps the Terrors at the top of the league.
