Footballs a game of three halves, or at lest it was on the 3g pitch as Craig Tanners men embarked on 2013/14 campaign.

Having gone behind to a messy own goal Tooting were soon in front, with Sol Pinnock key to two quickfire goals, scoring with a swerving shot from just inside the box and then setting up Harry Knock to score from 12 yards.

Frankie Sawyer regained the lead on 65 minutes, Harlow having equalised ten minutes earlier, but the visitors regained parity for the last time through a converted penalty. Nathan Gordon and Serge Makofo also caught the eye in a very encouraging workout.

The FA Youth cup holders ran riot in the second half to clock up a scoreline that reflected rather harshly on the home side.

After a scoreless first period the Canaries burst into song and were two up within three minutes of the restart. Daniel Morris converted a penalty to pull one back in the 63rd minute, but Jacob Murphy quickly completed his hat trick.

Tooting youngsters TJ Nkomo and Elliot Simpson held centre stage for a few minutes between the fourth and fifth, with the final score coming five minutes from time.

Vale took the lead on 8 minutes. Lee Hall equalised shortly after the half hour mark with a shot from outside the box, following good work by Daniel Morris, only for the home side to regain the lead five minutes later with blistering 20 yard strike. Frankie Sawyers fourth of the season ensured that it was all square at half time.

Twenty minutes after the break and Terrors went in front for the first time, again through Sawyer, but a fluffed clearance by keeper Harvey Cheadle brought the scores level for the final time.

A battling performance produced a well merited win against the young guns of the red devils.

A first half of drive and endeavour generated a couple of clear chances for Frankie Sawyer and one apiece for Ryan Palmer and Lee Hall - but no goals.

Five minutes into the second period and the energised visitors capitalised on a mistake by the otherwise excellent Josh Turner to take the lead.  For a while it looked like Town would take control, but Terrors fought back, Sol Pinnock pounced on a defensive slip to slot home  the equaliser. Two minutes from time and a pair of young subs grabbed the win as TJ Nknom powered his way to the touchline and drilled back the ball for Kwabena Agyei

to smash the ball high into the net.
